Churches that study together grow together
Psalm 119 tells us that studying and living in the Word leads us in God's path:
“I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you.”
With today's technology, shouldn't churches be able to easily connect people to God's Word?
Church attendance is declining, with 20% of US Americans attending church less often than before 2020. Americans' sense that they “never have enough time” has been for decades.
Americans also prefer consuming content on their own time. Between 2018 and 2020, most people started streaming movies instead of going to movie theaters.
It shouldn't surprise anyone that Americans would also prefer to do their Bible study on their own time, asynchronously, instead of having to arrange transportation, clear their schedules, and commute to a Bible study. Perhaps that's why most choose not to attend a Bible study and instead use one of the apps above to study the Bible alone.
Bible With Friends seeks to enhance church Bible studies by making asynchronous Bible study a reality for churches and small groups of all sizes, connecting people with the Bible in a way that makes sense for today, not 2010.
